The 20 inch gauge Scarborough North Bay Railway has been delighting generations of visitors since 1931 and is a must-visit attraction at the beautiful North Yorkshire seaside resort Scarborough.
Travel between Peasholm Station, the railway's hub next to Peasholm Park, and Scalby Mills Station situated next to Scarborough Sealife.
The train takes you on a 2 - mile  ( 7/8 mile, 1.4 km) return journey around the picturesque North stead Manor Gardens with views of Scarborough Open Air Theatre, before running in parallel to Scarborough's stunning North Bay
A nostalgic way to travel but also doubles as a transport link.

Peasholm Station to Scalby Mills Station

Dogs are very welcome to the SNBR and on the train

The train is wheelchair friendly, with a specially built carriage to accommodate two wheelchairs,  mobility scooters and prams on all trains

SNBR is a cashless site only, take payments via debit or credit card and smartphone apps.
